Legacy of Excellence
Empowering the next generation of Tanzanian leaders through academic rigor and historical pride.
From Aga Khan to
A National Symbol.
Originally founded as the Aga Khan Boys Secondary School, our institution was built on a foundation of service and community excellence in the heart of Dar es Salaam.
In 1971, following the Arusha Declaration, the school was nationalized and renamed Tambaza Secondary School, becoming a melting pot of national identity.
Today, Tambaza stands as a physical testament to Tanzania's educational history. Our campus is officially listed among Tanzania's Historical Sites, preserving the architectural and academic heritage of our great city.
